We really can’t get enough of Mayer Hawthorne!! Check out the “Green Eyed Love” video. Hopefully you are as lucky as us and will be attendance this Thursday in San Diego at Canes with the infamous Ghostface Killa. It will be his last show as he heads to the UK for while.

We all have a friend named Benny as a kid growing up. My friend Benny growing up was a quiet guy who was a smart ass. We don’t really talk anymore. So I looked for a new friend named Benny but never found one.
I did find BENI though. He spells his name different and he only spoke to me through remixes at first but now his production is starting to drop and I am glad I discovered him. Get to know him a bit with Maximus and My Love Sees You.
My secret agent VIC sent me towards a band that had caught their attention. These two videos are from DELPHIC, a Manchester based indie/electro outfit. I have read comparisons of them to the chemical brothers meet new order which is close but I for some reason think the underworld meet early bloc party vibe might fit a little better. Counterpoint is a perfect song for me today, maybe everyday.

Ever wondered what a giant, sprawling, three-day music festival in the desert would look like if it were nano-crammed into five minutes? Boing Boing posted a cool timelapse of the 2009 Coachella festival and wanted to share it.

A few weeks ago Thom Yorke did a surprise dj gig at the Roosevelt Hotel and word on the street he did another one last night. LA Weekly reported this morning that there are rumors of him doing a secret show with his band at the Echoplex this Friday in preparation for his two sold shows at the Orpheum. So check your twitter, calll that friend who always knows all the “cool stuff” and just keep your ears open cause I don’t know how true this is but if it is, I’ll see you there!!!!

I just stumbled upon this amazing youtube video of Calvin Harris’s latest project. I dont know whether it’s the hot chicks, or the whole idea itself, but this is total GENIUS. After watching him in countless interviews, and episodes of his Jam TV, I have come to the conclusion that Calvin Harris has to be the weirdest dude out there! But it makes it all the more entertaining, and I love it!

My favorite part of every awards ceremony is the red carpet. Since I was a little girl I would get so excited to watch the beautiful celebrities walk down the red carpet and I would imagine what I would wear if I were one of them.
Here are my 5 favorite looks from this years’ Emmys:
The always adorable Drew Barrymore.
Her looks is very romantic from her red lips to her stunning pink whimsical dress.
The beautiful Mila Kunis.
I love the color of this dress on her.
The perfect Mrs. Heidi Klum.
I don’t know anyone who can pull off a very fitted black dress while pregnant better than she can.
The stunning Olivia Wilde.
I wasn’t sure how I felt about this dress at first but the more I looked at it the more I fell in love with the cut. It fits her perfectly.
The lovely Chloe Sevigny.
I absolutely love her originality. This dress fits her style wonderfully.

Rory Edelman, the founder of Rory Beca has been one of my favorite new designers. In 2006 she went from making hand knit scarves to launching an entire collection. I immediately fell in love with her very feminine vintage-inspired line.
It has been exciting to watch her grow as a designer and I was so delighted when I saw her 2009 holiday collection. It has this chic rocker edge that her line has never really had before that I absolutely adore. I love mixing girly floral minis with leather or chunky jewelry to give it some edge; so for me, this was a perfect way to get me to fall in love with her all over again.
You can find Rory’s designs to complete your holiday wardrobe at department stores Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue as well as online boutiques such as shopbop and singer22. Get inspired and fall in love; like I have.
